Born in 2006, the ONWHEELZ party reignited the flame of roller parties in France and laid the foundations of a true movement.
Since 2011, the GOSSIPSKATE association has been at the heart of roller dance culture, alongside the La Main collective, who brought back the legendary Main Jaune — the iconic Parisian roller rink of the 1980s.
Driven by the growing enthusiasm of skaters, the collaboration with ONWHEELZ founders — a landmark of Paris' 12th arrondissement — sparked an explosive partnership. The pinnacle: December 2015, at the Grande Halle de La Villette, over 700 skaters united for a roller party that became legendary.
From this energy, the PARIS ONWHEELZ FESTIVAL was born in 2016: a weekend of skating, music and sharing, blending roller parties, roller dance contests, musical rides and workshops, with skaters from all over the world.
Today, roller dance is experiencing a true renaissance. Fun, inclusive, liberating — it brings together an ever-growing community, ready to cross borders to live their passion.
